Board Service
Members appointed to our Board of Directors shape the policies and practices of the organization, giving members the opportunity to broaden their connections and build valuable relationships in the community.
Committe Participation
Members appointed to a committee have the opportunity to engage in policies that impact the district’s business and residential community.
Development Support
Whether in the initial brainstorming stage or nearing completion, members involved in development projects can call on our staff for advice, expertise, consultation, and guidance.

Be among the first to hear district development, policy, and project updates before they’re made public. Members can share their projects with an invested group of neighbors and colleagues who serve as advocates for your organization and goals.

Membership Opportunities
Supporting Member

minimum per year
Supporting Membership is suggested for the Stockyards district’s largest property owners and economic anchors with a philanthropic interest in ensuring the Stockyard’s revitalization and continued development.
Each Supporting Member is a voting member and is eligible for consideration to serve:
- as a member of the Board of Directors
- as an Officer of the Corporation
- as a member of a committee
Each Supporting Member can appoint up to five (5) Supporting Affiliate Members.
Supporting Affiliate Members (No Annual Dues)
Each Supporting Affiliate Member is appointed by the Supporting Membership and is entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to the FWSI general members and is eligible for consideration to serve:
- as a member of a committee
Sustaining Member

Sustaining Membership is suggested for the Stockyards district’s prominent property owners, employers, economic anchors, and most invested proponents of the Stockyard’s revitalization and continued development.
Each Sustaining Member is a voting member at general membership meetings; and is eligible for consideration to serve:
- as a member of the Board of Directors
- as an Officer of the Corporation
- as a member of a committee
Each Sustaining Member can appoint up to five (5) Sustaining Affiliate Members.
Sustaining Affiliate Members (No Annual Dues)
Each Sustaining Affiliate Member is appointed by the Sustaining Member and is a voting member who is eligible for consideration to serve:
- as a member on various committees
Corporate Member

Corporate Membership is suggested for newly established large businesses or anchor institutions of 75 -100 employees.
Each Corporate Member is a voting member at general membership meetings; and is eligible for consideration to serve on various committees. There is a total of six (6) Corporate Members who may be considered to serve on the FWSI Board of Directors and be eligible to serve as a Board Officer.
Each Corporate Member can appoint up to two (2) Corporate Affiliate Members who will have all rights afforded to Associate Members, including, without limitation, the same voting rights and the right to serve on committees.
Corporate Affiliate Members (No Annual Dues)
Each Corporate Affiliate Member is appointed by the Corporate Member and is a voting member who may be eligible to serve:
- as a member on various committees
General Member

General Membership is suggested for established and growing medium-size businesses of 40 -75 employees.
General Members ($2,000 Annual Dues)
Each General Member is a voting member at general membership meetings and may serve on various committees. There is a total of four (4) General Members who may be considered to serve on the FWSI Board of Directors and be eligible to serve as a Board Officer.
Associate Member

Associate Membership is suggested for newly established small businesses and non-profits without national affiliation of less than 10 employees.
Associate Members ($500 Annual Dues)
Each Associate Member is a voting member at general membership meetings. There is a total of two (2) General Members who may be considered to serve on the FWSI Board of Directors and be eligible to serve as a Board Officer.
